Do any of you do sculpture (on a small scale) ? i'm thinking of giving it a go..... i was wondering three things : 1) Which Materials Do you Use 2) What Tools Do I Need? 3) Is It Expensive? Merry Christmas Marc |

*cough*monkeyseemonkeydo*cough* Anything malleable...clay etc. You use your hands and any knife. I used to make bowls and vases and like sh*t, but I used a little spinning disc with a foot pump. Those don't cost much and making your own dishes kicks ass. Then go to a pottery place with a kiln and have it fired. |

If you plan on making something with limbs, wire is sometimes useful.

i saw someone make a cow last night and also a hand with chains around the wrist,........ and then i saw kranestyles and i thought.... wow.... thats gotta be done...... can you use a regular oven?? or is that just a stupid idea? i dont know... Thanks for the input Marc |

They make craft clay that can bake in a regular oven. But if you really want to make some nice stuff you're gonna have to glaze it at a pottery place.

ok.... ill have to find one near me...... actually i know where ones is.... yey.... but im gonna make a pinhole camera before i learn to sculpt
