I can type fast - Im not sure how many WPM but its quite fast. What's wierd is that I just noticed that theres a shiny spot on my spacebar where my figer repeatedly hits it. Right below the 'm' and the 'n'. Then I realized that I use my pointer finger on the spacebar. I should use my thumb I guess but I use my pointer finger - its just a habit. I also only use the right shift key for capital letters. And I rarely use caps lock - I just hold down the shift key and type normally. Is there a program on the internet that we can all use to compare typing speeds? :D *runs off to search* tom *edit - here you go - http://www.learn2type.com/TypingTest |

Obviously Mavis Beacon didn't teach you to type or you wouldn't have such terrible typing technique! For shame!

So how fast do you type? I got 68wpm on that one (with 1 error). Though I don't like how you have to click to start and stop it. That loses valuable seconds off of your time!

I don't type properly. But I've spent so many years on a keyboard, I can hunt the keys down pretty darn fast. There are more then a handful of you on this forum that I would guess go into a seizure before you type many of your posts. Edit: *Laughing so loud at Deker's Ultrasuperdupercompetitiveness* |

That is what Tab and Enter are for. =) (granted I edited all my mistakes along the way) and ended up with 48 wpm with impressive accuracy. Is that better Deker? |

Why aren't any of you bastards posting times! Only posts with WPM included are allowed in this thread, I'll delete all the others!
