Ok I want to know what everyone recommends (at least what did YOU do) to submit your website to search engines... So when I go to google and search for something about my site, it will come up... Thanks

You could just submit it to google... and that is about it... Of course the more links you have to your site the better it will be indexed and the higher it will come up in results. Also if you use good title tags, that helps a lot. and coding in CSS/xhtml is good, so it doesn't have to sort through a bunch of bad table code. and having a blog and pinging places like weblo.gs and blogs.com will get you on there extremely fast. |

Yah I think googles the way to go too. I remember looking around 4 or 5 months ago and places like Yahoo charge for that sort of thing. Just submit it to google and then just wait a bit because it takes awhile. Well it did for me at least.

Lots of info here, and links to places to submit your site to be crawled. Though there aren't many free ones left... http://searchenginewatch.com/ |
