Does any one know if there is a setting to change this. Even if i do not make contact with the pen the pointer still moves. say im drawing a line with athe pen and i lift the pen off the talet, boom the pointer moves away from my line along with the pen even thougfh im not toching the tablet. I hate that, sometimes is good but i want to know if i could change this form happening ALL the time, and switch it on when i need it to do that. Im thinking of bying the intous 2 , if it has this feature if not i just stay with my graphite. please let me know, thanxs a lot. |

Um, yeah, it's suppposed to do that. You're suppposed to be able to move the cursor without actually bringing the pen into contact with the tablet. You only bring it into contact when you want to click, and/or draw something. I'm sure it can be disabled in preferences, but IMO, you should keep the setting enabled, and just get used to it. It'll save a lot of wear and tear on the surface of your tablet. Imagine when how many times you move the cursor across the screen within an hour. Now imagine how many times a day, a week a year. Now imagine what that will do to the nice, smooth surface of your tablet once a crumb, or pieceof dust or sand gets stuck to the end of the pen (Which happens frequently, I might add). Over time that will eff up the surface, and though it shouldn't effect the input at all, it'll make the tablet all rough and crappy, which is a pain in the ass when you're trying to draw something pretty precise. |
