Finally got some money in my paypal account and am trying to invest in things that will help me in my goal to become a great graphic artist (hopefully recreate that graphic on pankpages.com which I try and do everyday). Just wondering the answering to the following questions:

- Should I join a stock photo website (ie. istockphoto.com)?
- If so, which one (which would be the best to join)?
- Any other websites I should join?
- Any books I should buy?
- Anything else I should buy?

I have about $143 in my paypal account so time to shop till the paypal balance drops!

Join AIGA http://aiga.com/

And network, access to great contact databases. Not sure if you are at the stage yet though.

Cheers,
Michael

How about some hosting, unless 'only on x-box' is actually your site.

I don't need to buy hosting, still got a lot of time left before my account expires. And of course that is my site, why wouldn't it be?

If you are really into this whole PS biz-naz then join NAPP (www.photoshopuser.com).

You can get great, free stock photos at www.sxc.hu

Don't buy books. Just visit websites and figure out what works.

This article is a must-read for you:

Maybe you need to look closely at your tablet. There is no such thing a graphite tablet. It's Graphire. A great tool.

Sheesh.

AIGA is nice.
