My Missing Font

Hello everyone...

I recently upgraded to XPpro from Win98, an made it a point to back up all my miscellaneous fonts.

But to my surprise, when I installed XPpro, it did not come with the Gill Sans, Bernard MT Condensed, Baskerville Old Face font(s) which I use quite often.

I'm reluctant pay $20 bucks a pop for the above font(s) I'm suppose to have. It came with Win98....

Does anyone know where I can download this font free of charge or can someone send it to my via C:\Windows\Fonts....

Any advice or generosity is appreciated

Do you still have the win98 disc?

think i have win 98 on one of my old pcs

do u still need the font? i can dig the pc out from my closet if u do ;)

The other option is to just throw the windows 98 disc in, cancel an install and browse the disc.

I unable to find any fonts on the Win98 Cd.

Ran a search etc. Sigh...

Oops (* I threw in the windows cd I have *) I guess it's packaged up..... sorry....

I knew I was missing some fonts...

Il get them back....

I wondewr why microsoft remove them....

so they could make 20 dollars a font of course :P

Sometime those fonts are packaged with MS Office, and not just windows. As I understand, Windows, just by itself, having no innate word processing program (Aside from wordpad) does not offer the typical plethora of fonts so commonly taken for granted. Office, on the other hand, does offer these fonts usually.
