Don't know how many are celebrating Thanksgiving, but we are.

A bunch of us (Swedish-Americans) are getting together this year to celebrate. Thank goodness I don't have to make everything by myself this year! Anyways...

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

mmmmm..... Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Cranberry, Stuffing.... Unfortunately, Canada has some weird notion to celebrate thanksgiving in October, so it's a fond memory. But happy turkey day Mara.....

Amen.

Anyhoo, a german friend of mine was recently asked if he celebrates thanksgiving back home (Hamburg).
He had no way to respond. He also has been asked "Do you have snow there?" as well as "Do you see the moon in germany?"

He has also frequently been asked if they have the fourth off july there either. His response is usually "No. Right after July 3rd is July 5th."

Well for those of you who don't get to celebrate Turkey-Day I will be sure to eat lots of goodies for you... (me silly...yes as usual).

Pganguly: Ignorance is bliss - or so they say, honestly that is pretty sad.

Deker: You silly you... :P
