I need to have available a Windows 2k or better hosting option for someone (with Access and msSQL) , but since I don't use windows hosting I haven't had any experience with any companies. Anyone got any suggestions? Deker?

I use myhosting.com. They use IIS and support most Windows technologies including FrontPage extensions.

Their pricing is reasonable, availability and speed is fantastic and customer service is quick to respond.

The only gripe I have (which might lead to me leaving them), is that they charge an extra $10 per month for additional parked domains. If you're only hosting one site, then I strongly recommend them.

Does your plan with an Access db? I noticed it's $25 a month additional for an SQL db of 50 megs.

It's not my first choice either  , but I'm setting something up with a business partner and I wanted to make sure our business plan will include those wanting asp and access or SQL sites.

Yes, I get 1 System DSN for Microsoft Access on the $9.95/month plan.

Here's the company I'm thinking about switching to. Looks like they include MySQL in the monthly rate:

=) John, I remember him. I don't have any issues with the tech guys, they were always quite friendly, but I had some hosting problems with them, which were handled in a very piss poor manner, and I was locked out of my account after I switched to a new host. But I theoretically still have thru Janurary paid and should have that web space available. So I am not going to deal with them anymore.
