My second day at work... Yeah the wage sucks big time... But I woud have gotten even less in the army and I hated that SOO much...and I like working here so it aint that bad I've aranged that I don't get any food here so that I get my 3.60 + about 8 euros a day sence I don't eat anything... So it's still something...hmm... I actually like this place...I think my opinion about this will change soon..but at least for now it's fun A lot of computer and problems And when you are at home working with your own computer you get really mad when it doesn't work but here well it ain't yours so you can just give crap if they will work or not...lol Okey not really...but you can still go to a computer that is like 2 inches away and it will work And then if something doesn't work/crashed you just go to the store room and take the new part I've talked to my boss that I do know something about making sites too so I might be able to start playing around with layouts and coding soon...which will kick ass So it's not so bad in the end...at least not for now... |

Ask for tips. Like bellboys. Just make little hints and stuff - people are nice and they'll give you some money, especially after fixing their computer. Or if the computer won't boot up because a floppy is in the drive, say that you can't fix it, but for 5 euros, you can go "above and beyond" and take it apart and see what the problem is. Then ask them to leave, eject the disk, press a key, surf teamps (to waste some time), and they come back and you're done. Magic. tom |

Does it get hot? The computer/server room at my school is always really hot. Any why do you have to do this, again? Is it just community service, instead of army service? I lived in Norway (for four years) and people there had to go in the army - I'm guessing its the same in Suomi. ? tom |

Well it's about 30 degrees... So it's not that bad...about the same as in my own room Yes because I quited the army I still have to serve my country at some way, so working without money was the best idea they came up with... :( |

I live at around 16 degrees. In shorts and t-shirts. Makes me type faster, knowing that if I slow down, my fingers might freeze and fall off. My brain works faster, too - for the same reason perhaps. Put some sand in that computer room of yours and you can go shirtless with a bathing suit very nicely. :D tom |
