Did you order Photoshop CS or any other of the new CS range?

If you're a photoshop professional, then you might consider joining NAPP, but from what I know about your Photoshop skills, I doubt it would be a good choice. No offense - the same goes for me.

National Asociation of Photoshop Professionals

I tried joining at some point but gave up. The service for international users really sucks - I'm sorry to say - I waited for about 3 months before I gave up on them. It really sucked because I really wanted in...

mihai - have you tried contacting the NAPP and telling them your story? I would, they seem to really care about their members.

I've been a member on and off for about 6 years, through jobs or on my own. I have not renewed yet this year, I'll probably wait until January - or try to sucker up to my boss to spend the dough!

The benefits: discounts, discounts, discounts. Mostly on seminars, travel, software, training books or computer hardware - if you buy those things a couple of times a yr, GET IN NAPP.

Not to mention the magazine is 100% the best design tool you can get, IMO.

I just got the newest issue! ("Maya & Photoshop")... *reads*

It's actually cheaper to join NAPP and then buy PS, than the other way around. You'll save a couple hundred bucks and get a magazine.

Is Maya a free download? Thats what I heard from someone. Just if you wanted to use it for commercial work then you needed to pay. Is it hard to learn? Use? I watched the trailer/demo/video once; the stuff made with it is amazing.
