Ok, I got online today and as usual, I came here. After reading a few posts and all, Dean (the guy I produce with), calls my house wanting to drink a few beers. So, I throw my computer into idle and leave for another adventure in the land of alchohol. Anyway, I do my thing, spin a little, blah blah, and come back. I look at my computer screen and there are like 63 pop-ups ranging from credit cards to porn. I don't understand. Why? No one was here and teamps was the only site I had been to all frikkin day. This really pissed me off too because after closing a few poop-ups, I did not want to see a big fat naked old lady waving her hand on one of the pop-ups. Not to mention I was intoxicated at the time (yes, that sure sobered me up real quick).

Point ... pop-ups (a.k.a. poop-ups) are evil.

Use a decent browser, run adaware to get rid of the spyware and ad programs, or buy Mac. Problem solved!

Yeah, I'm really thinking about buying a Mac. I'm tired of Windows.

Try getting rid of your adware/spyware instead ;)

Yeah, it appears you need to do some spring cleaning. I would also suggest going into your registry and getting rid of the crap, but that can be a bit dangerous. If you can go buy Ontrack System Suite, I would go do this. It's an amazing program that does a terrific job on everything from Registry cleanups to full blown disk clean ups.

Turn off Windows' Messenger Service(no, not MSN Messenger—that's a different beast).

Somebody else here will have to tell you how...
