Powerpoint

Does anyone know anything about powerpoint? My mom called me up and asked me about it, but I've never used it so I can't really help her much. Figured I'd ask one of you guys if you ever used it.

The problem: She can't seem to get the "clip art" to work. I can't either. I click on clip art, and nothing happens. Theres a little window to the right with some stuff, but if you click on anything in that window, nothing comes up ... like there is no clip art. Can anyone help with this? I'd appreciate it.

Hmm, well. I opened it on my PC (WindowsXP) and it basically did nothing. So to the clip art organizer window I just clicked "now" instead of "later". Then the program proceeded to search my entire computer for pictures, which took awhile. So I really don't know. It seemed weird. I still don't see any actual clip art that I'm used to.

If she's really desperate for some clip art, she can always open word and use the images from there. Just put them in the word document and copy/paste into powerpoint.

All programs of the Office suite use the same Clip Gallery. If you are lacking in images, either download some from http://office.microsoft.com/clipart/ or go to Add/Remove Programs, select "Microsoft Office", select the option to Customize, and "Install All From My Computer".

If there are items in the Clip Gallery, try to drag them to the main window or double-click the items.
