91 here in Sin City. Breaking all kinds of records this week. Ridiculous. I've had enough heat, y'all. Ready for some snow, myself.

Yeah, it's like 30ยบ here in Rochester NY. We have the single most depressing winters. Like, people just hate Rochester in the winter.

Somehow though, I like snow. It's probably like Stockholm Syndrome for weather, or I'm just some kind of terribly troubled person.

Besides that though, We get so much snow here every year. it get's cold and wet around this time of year, but we get MAULED with snow right around January. Like, foot after foot after foot of snow. It's ridiculous.

And Rochester's not even pretty in the winter. It just looks like the setting for some kind of horror movie. Then, despite having snow now, in october, it seems never to snow on christmas. WTF IS THAT?!

So...

Yeah.

just for the record...i wont be trading!! 103 (or excessive heat) doesnt sound that fun. Ive only experienced 100...so i dont wanna know what 103 feels like. Though im not sure if trading for snow is nuts or not. I can understand arizona weather (to a point)...but snow you gotta shovel/plow....u gotta drive "carefully"..... i mean its more than just cold. Its a giant pain in the ass!!!

"having to run the stupid mile for my PE class"

man.....dont do that. Just walk it in protest. I never ran it. I basically told my PE instructors to bite me then lied about how many laps on the track i walked. Also those freaky PE teachers have no idea what "cold weather" means. When i was in HS...we even cosidered playing touch football in the december snow..now thats cold! lol

Also....if its snowing for me...then your in for a world of hurt Pganguly lol. U got what...like 4 feet (give or take) last year? I remember a picture in my newspaper....it was this guys house where all you could see what his roof sticking out of the snow haha.

/me joins mara in an sing along "Damn snow! Go away and come back on Christmas Day!"

Atleast you can hide from the cold (go inside or wear uber ton of clothes) but it's hard to escape the heat a lot of the time :(

Playing a sport when it's blindingly cold out is...fun, for some reason.

I have no idea why. I guess I'm just well insulated :P

And as for escaping the cold? You can, to a certain extent, but just the trip from a building to you car can completely sap all of the heat from your body, and make you fell like you've been outside for like, an hour, when you've only been outside for about 2 minutes, especially when it's windy, which it always during the winters here.

Also, we're awesome at getting ice storms, so I'm sure we'll get to have some of those (!)

For those of you who don't know what an ice storm is, it more or less covers everything in about an inch of ice. You have to chisel your way into your car in the morning.

...that is if 1) you can walk to your car and 2) an ice-heavy branch/tree didnt fall on your car

Snow? What's that?

Ahhh, over here in Sunny San Diego California, it's gorgeous. Just got in from the beach today, a little sun and surf. Waves were beatiful. Not to mention the ladies....oh yeah!

We never too much snow around here, just warm sunny days, although I love the rain and gloomy days full of gray clouds.

But yeah, it's great. You all can come and bunk at my house...and only if you bring Mara.
