Ok ... I'm facing yet another delema with my site. Should I trash all of them and just make one SIMPLE personal site that I don't have to update with pointless information a lot ... OR ... should I just keep them and end up never updating any of them again because I end up making a simple personal site anyway?

I put a lot of effort into Partrauma ... but ... I don't see why ... it doesn't have a purpous, nor do I even like it that much. I don't want a site were I have to constantly update useless information and now ... I just see it as a big, giant, waste of time and effort.

I been thinking about it a lot today ... mainly cause I've had nothing to do at all except want to kick my JX for being a b*tch and a half.

What should I do? I can't decide myself ... so I'm gonna ask.

It's just been getting more and more frustrating ...

Oh ... and does anyone else have this kind of problem when it comes to making a site?

If you aren't going to update them then trash them. No one likes a site that's never updated. Just make one that you can keep interested in and update frequently.

i agree keep the one you have passion for and keep it fresh. But i would merge them into your own personal site, i like partraume just include the content from the other two i guess.

Dayum. Do i gotta drive over a few states...throw you in the trunk of my car and haul your ass to design therapy?? lol

My suggestion would be go with a simple "personal" site...until u can actually figure out what you want to do. Obviously (with the number of sites u have made in the last month)...you dont have particular goal in mind. Also im guessing with your kid and all you'll be really stressed to update much...so simple would be better.

yup. Every personal site ive made before my portfolio(which spans about 3/4 years lol) . I knew i wanted a site(s)....i just didnt have any content or goals for them....so in the end i kept having the same problem as you are. Then my portfolio came along...i said......i need the site to be "this"...it needs to do "that" and it has to be targeted towards "them" within "this" amount of time. Then i just sat my ass down...and been working out those problems ever since.

***Actually some real good advice would be "storyboard" your next site. Why? Because if u cant logically work out its structure..then obviously you dont have a purpose for it. ***

also...dont trash your layouts. Archive them.

Mos Def. Even though I'm a loser, and don't have a site online, I have like...11 or so old, and 'concept' pages saved, so that when I do work up the gumption (and money) to put something online, I've got something to start from.
