Yeah, Great job and especially the file size. Don't take this the wrong way but did you do that all yourself? Reason I ask is because the time may come where I need some cool pixel animation and maybe I could call on you

Thanks a lot guys! I appreciate the comments. And please notice, I didn't even have to post it in the Showroom or the Test & Sigs forum! Pank, yes, every pixel was drawn by me (one by one, no less). I think everyone could learn from using the one pixel pencil tool every now and then. I'd love to help you out if you need it in the future. I'm actually planning on making some more of those types of animations, keeping the current one as the one visible, then have links under that to the archives. So, everyone look forward to more Deker adventures! * A tip for anyone that wants to know how I got the small file size... Use as few colors as you can, and keep the area that is animated as small as you can. There is an option when you save an animated gif to erase pixels that don't change, so the fewer pixels you change, the smaller the file size. Also, the fewer the colors, the smaller the size. That animation had less than 32 colors, and over 70 frames of animation. Took me about 3 hours to do. * Anyway, thanks for the complements. |

Yeah, that's probably my favorite too. I actually had quite a few more dance moves for him, but when I compressed the image, it was already 22k, and I hadn't even made him walk back to his starting place yet, so I had to dump them.
