I just picked up Battlefield 1942 and am waiting for it in the mail. My old gaming friends are all playing the Desert Combat mod. I know this is probably the most irrelevant and nerdy question you have heard all day, but any here play this game? |

I played the demo once. But it wasn't online. So it was kind of boring flying around shooting at nothing. I really liked Medal of Honor though. |

BF 1942 is one of the best games I have ever played. Seriously... it is awesome. I haven't played any of the mods yet but the game itself is a lot better than Medal of Honor.

That is what i keep hearing. My friend works at a gamer place and they have like 2/3 of their computers set up for BF1942. It seems like I am going to have to waste some time soon!

Yeah I've played it a little bit. It's a good game but it takes a while to get used to the flying. Also some of the missions are kinda boring. But online - nice...! tom |

It took me roughly 3 minutes to master flying the helicopter.

I, personally, don't play it. HOWEVER! I do urge everyone to go and do this (in this order): 1. Download Enemy Territory. From either Fileshack or Enemy-Territory.com. It's 100% legally FREE, and DOES NOT require RTCW to play. 2. Read it's manual! Manual 1 and HERE! 3. Install The Game 4. Play the game. If you ever do play, just email me, IM me, or PM me and we can play on the same server so I can kick yo' a$$! Hehehehe. :D |

BF, I bought it and installed it and uninstalled it ;( My BS pc was too old/weak/not powerful enough...But I still got it and when i get a new PC I will install it again. But I have played both Medal of honor and Spearhead, and those are great ! Another great game is Soldier Of Fortune, both I and 2 is awsome, but the greatest of them all is Splinter Cell...No doubt about it, well if you do not like sneaky stealth games, there is doubts about it, but no doubt about that the game is very, very nicly done Patric. Oh, and by the way is this a online thing only ? You know on dial up...well I don't play online much ;) But is it for us SP aswell, then it would be worth downloading, perhaps |
