There are a few things that IE will allow you to do, but is not part of the W3C guidlines as valid code, so it's nice to know what your pages will look like in other browsers. One thing I like (and think should be valid da**it!) is 100% heights. IE will let you stretch something (even an empty cell) so all the content can be shoved top to bottom, but that is not valid html, so most browsers ignore it. But they allow 100% widths -so what's the difference? Don't know - my browser rant. |

I am not sure if it has "tabbed" viewing, but it does have lots of great skins that are just a click to download and install, and anti-pop-up capabilities. Plus it is fast. I have found a few bugs here and there, but it's probably because i switched to XP from 2k and found it less stable. |

Yes, firebird has tabbed browsing. It also has Mouse Gestures via a downloadable extension. Many other features can be added with extensions also. Some of the best features of Firebird: http://mozilla.org/products/firebird/why/ all of the firebird extensions: http://www.texturizer.net/firebird/extensions/ |

well, i must admit im pretty happy with opera so far.. theres a few things buggin me though.. isnt it possible to remove the body margin on pages?? especially on zyc's new page.. in my IE theres no margin at all, but there is in opera.. but i could get used to theese mouse gestures ;) .. and the nickname shortcut things for booksmarks.. yummi |
