i've not used anything bigger than 5 by 4 (or is it 4 by 5?) Graphire.

I thought bigger would be better, and yes, it probably is, but i found that the smaller wacom is fine, it's surprisingly good infact!

one thing, which may apply to;

Small pads
graphire's
Wacoms...

i find if i do a FAST stroke (eg. 10cm /s) and make a curved like, it sorta staggers the curve into angels....

not too sweet now huh? but do a slower one and its fine :D

Good luck with your hunt! as i was told when in ur position, go e-browsing and try one out at a outlet sumwhere :D

Chris.

I have the 6x8 Inuos 2 I think it is. I don't use it much though. 'cause most of the time i just layout websites with photoshop, and a wacom is a bit overkill just to draw boxes.

http://www.wacom.com/productinfo/differences.cfm

The Intuos is twice as sensitive, has a menu strip, tilt sensitivity, a better pen, more accessories, lifetime warranty instead of 1 year, etc.

i probably would, but it was a gift. my whole family contributed to buy it, so it would be kind of rude to just sell it.

dude, just get the cheapest one. I've had the most expensive one - at my old job - and the $100 dollar one that I have now. I honestly like the $100 version better. No lie. Take the money you saved and buy some photoshop plugins (or some beer)...

I feel as if I've said that before... is this a new post??? deja vu sucks! :(
