The windows versus mac debate is quite tiresome (and it is mac versus windows) pc - versus mac would mean having to argue all linux, BSD (including OSx Darwin), BEos, etc. But I assumed you meant windows as a pc os. But with windows, I admit it is full of holes, but it tends to be the user (not so much as ignorance, but lack of knowledge) that leaves it full of holes and doesnt ever bother to spend 5 minutes here and there and check updates. NO one should be able to hack your machine, unless you leave yourself vulnerable. Your pc can't decrease your amount of security. But it CAN have something running that it shouldn't, and I don't blame anyone for that because until 2003 server, Microsoft hasn't figured out you shouldn't leave your system open before locking it.

What Marble is saying, I can sum up in a nutshell, and as a tenet which guides my life: "Most people are idiots." |

lol! What Marble is trying to say: Most people use known exploits to hack into peoples computers. Known exploits are almost always patched. If you have a firewall and run update or check the download section of windows, you won't have that problem. |
