I'm looking to buy a drawing tablet range from $100 ~$200 and I heard something called worocm or some brand is pretty good, any advices? I plan to use it combine with photoshop to sketch, and color stuff, it's a lot more convenient than use scanners. |

Wacom. Which you can find anywhere from 100 - 3500+ (usd) i believe depending on your needs =P For 100 usd you can get the graphire2 which will fit all your basic needs for a tablet. http://www.wacom.com/ http://www.wacom.com/graphire/index.cfm |

Yeah, the graphire2 is the one to get for that price. I'm actually thinking of selling mine, so email me about it. ( Slonik_22 at comcast.net ) |

Ditto. Im a casual user of Photoshop but I find it comes in handy alot for coloring or masking. I have a friend who does images completely on the computer using the graphire2 for her original sketching concepts. I do recall her saying it took some time to get used to looking at the screen to sketch opposed to down on the paper right next to the pencil. |

Yeah, you could buy a generic one, that's maybe a little bigger, for about the same price, but I've had 2 in the amount of time that I could've had one Wacom. It's one of those quantity vs. quality issues. I wanna get a wacom graphire sometime too.

OK so Wacom is a brand name? And graphire2 is one of their models? I guess its like Ccotch tape or something, where every one uses the brand name to mean the product. What are some other brand names of graphics tablets? tom |
