Do you guys buy any photoshop or graphic design or web design or computing or photography magazines?

I went to Chapters or Borders or some 3-story book store while I was in Boston and I was reading all the art and design magazines. The only one I had seen before was "Communication Arts", which is more of a book than a magazine. I was just wondering what the best magazine to pick up is. There are so many - and they all look good.

And there are so many different things that I'm interested in, so I guess that makes it tough.

Did you know that there's a magazine about nothing but basketball shoes? It's called "Kicks". What is the world coming to?

MIX mag here. Even though I havent touched a console in a while, they still keep sending me notices saying," your free subscription to MIX magazine is about to expire, do you want another year for free?"

Other than that, magazines are over priced .... imo. Rather buy a book.

I read HOW and MacDesign. I would love Photoshop User but its so pricey.

CMYK is ok, but its too much student work (thats the point) so I lose interest.

I read Computer Arts & 3DWorld sometimes....

I used to read Cre@te...but they went under pretty quick (the magazine was like half ads anyway....and the content wasnt all that great)

I now read Photoshop User all the time. Its actually cheaper than Create was (its $10 i believe.....Cre@te was $13 ) so im happy lol.

Also that 3 story book store is Borders. If you ever go back...there is a great candy store across the street lol.

Actually I lied, Rodder. The book store I went into was at the Prudential Center. I think it was Chapters. I did walk past the 3-storey Borders though. We were on the Freedom Trail. Don't recall seeing the candy store but I went into the smaller book store across the street.
