While I was making my basic gradient guide and providing some resources for my users to find more complex gradient tuts I came across this http://www.eyesondesign.net/pshop/chrome_bug/bug1.htm It made me really sad I mean I just started make tutorials mine mostly are basics and stuff. but I've never ripped anyone their tutorials, Because I make tutorials I also know how much time and dedication those guys put into them so I was kinda touched. My question is have you ever seen tutorial rips? (I know I have, mostly on eye-ball design and teamphotoshop) And What do you think of all those going on? What should we do with those rippers because I consider this kind of rip worse than splash, design rip. Should a copyright law enforced on tutorials? Wanna see some posts Peace out. |

The thing about photoshop tutorials these days is that they are repeated or reconstructed. Mainly, most have been covered since the Photoshop 4-5 days when tutorials pop up like baby rats. I'll call it a rip, if its a total 90% copy. Some kid might tweak a tutorial here and there to their liking and call it their own. |

Hmm, I'm with Sidez. Chances are that there have been tutorials made by plp that are close to being considered rips, but aren't. And these kiddies that sits and vacuums the net after "heavy stuff" that they can put up on their site, just a li'l bit remade... I don't like rippers of any kind, but this kind is hard to get to I think... |
