Well one good thing about the 80's (i'll never say this phrase again..im sorry) was those awesome music videos. Those ones that look like a crayon drawing brought to life by someone that doesnt know how to animate...that had all sorts of freaky fluorescent colors (which was also the color of the clothes in the 80's...how scary is that?). Also how they had that resized video of the guitarist in the bottom corner of the screen (who forgot to play his guitar during the shoot) and he was like an inch tall with like 8ft tall graphics...and yeah GOOD TIMES!!!!!!! (the 80's sucked) |

I'm with mattboy on this one - I can dig the 80's. they're so much more positive - think about it - the biggest stress in peoples lives in the 80's was did they get enough hairspray in their hair that night - well, and not OD'ing or getting AIDS, I guess... - Metallica was really, really f'n good in the 80's. I didn't even mind pop music back then, come to think of it... |

There has been good music created, in all genres, every day, since 1900 and beyond. Just because it's been force fed to the masses doesn't mean it's bad. Doesn't mean it's good either. Learning to ferret out the good stuff, wherever it may be, with discriminating ears, is the secret to infinite musical satisfaction. The more you listen—to all styles, from all eras— the better equipped you are to separate the chuff from the chaff. |

I rarely listen to music and watch MTV when my brothers won't let me change the channel. :| 1. Linkin' Park (could they play Stinkin' Bark enough times a day?) 2. Sean Paul (I only saw 2 videos of him and mucho h8 goes to him) 3. Rappers who think bling bling is cool (most aren't as good as Seuess though when it comes to rhyming ) 4. N'stynk and F**street boys :P 5. Evanescence (sound the same in every song to you guys aswell?) 6. (insert the slutty girls here) 7. Korn/Slipknot/etc. (I'm a bad-ass teenager and I HATE THE WORLD!!!!!) 8. 50 Cent 9. 50 Cent 10. 50 Cent |

Metallica was the best thing to happen to the 80's. But I did like Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins.

When's the last time you heard Meth ryming about "b*tche's and bling." His voice is one of the most recognized in hip-hop, and I can't choose between him and Tuna from J5 as to one of my favorite artists... |
