Indeed, I work, well actually this is my last day of work...but I don't get $400/week, sure wouldn't make sense for someone not working to be paid more than me :p .

Anywho, he can probably none-the-less register for unemployment, should help out a bit. If you're really in that big of a pickle local churches/help centers etc. should be able to help you out if you're family/friends can't/won't. Although I can't see why family/friends wouldn't/couldn't help you out just a bit anyways...

I can't send you money, even if I wanted to, and I don't think this is the best place to be asking for it anyways.

There are nice people everywhere, and unless you live in the middle of nowhere (which I doubt since it sounds like you've gone to a doctor, so I'm sure at least a few people live around you) I'm sure you could find a neighbor that would be willing to help at least a little bit.

If you're going to beg people on the internet for money, you should at least give them something for their trouble. Like her:

Ok, I'm almost ALWAYS willing to give someone the benefit of the doubt, but in this case, given the obvious impersonality of this form of seeking charity, how can we not doubt your motives? Personally, I would encourage you to go to a church.

I'm not in any way trying to preach, but despite your own beliefs, the church is an institution dedicated to service and help. Furthermore, they typically do not seek re-payment, but ask instead that you, when most readily able, make a comparabel contribution back to the church.

Otherwise, I'm also not aware of where you live, I know also that there are MANY options available for your wife, including WIC, which given your apparent financial state, she may qualify for. WIC, by the way is a program in which a mother would recieve welfare and medicare coverage during her pregnancy, and after birth, where the child would also be covered. I don't know all the ins and outs, let alone whether this post is a lie or not, but hey, I help where I can.

Good luck, or whatever.

Pganguly, great advice...

Sorry but I really don't feel comfortable with this thread. Something seems a bit off to me...
