Hey, saw this keyboard and thought it looked pretty nifty. Has anyone either used or seen on of these? I'm thinking about buying the Photoshop one for my Mac... www.logickeyboard.com |

I think $300 is a whole lot of money for a keyboard, especially when it doesn't seem to have many functions mapped on it. You could easily learn all those shortcuts in a week, and save yourself $300.

I just bought a Macally iMediakey keyboard for US$44 from a 3rd-party vendor on Amazon. It's quite a bit different than standard Apple keyboards in "feel" but I really like it. As for those Logic K.B's....I think the colored keys and crowded labels are ugly. I've commited so many shortcuts to automatic memory, and have created so many of my own F-key Actions that I don't need the sort of "Help" their products might provide. Now...I have a proprietary peripheral device designed just for Photoshop users—an ambidextero-design that will put THOUSANDS of user-defined shortcuts underneath the non-mouse hand (left or right) of any user....save the main keyboard for what it's meant to be good for: text entry. All I need to do is find venture capital and a prototype specialist......willing to license the technology. |

I like it because it has the shallow laptop style keys. I like typing on laptops because it seems to be faster and require less effort than pushing down a huge regular keyboard button.

The logic keyboard for $300 is the price for the keyboard AND a 8 disc Photoshop tutorial DVD set. Just the keyboard is about $100. That illuminating keyboard does look pretty cool.
