OK, this is really weird.

If you type in google.com and search for westkoast I can find a link to my site from teamphotoshop.com, but google doesn't even pick up the fact that westkoast.com exists....

Is it just because I don't have my links on enough sites?

Very strange...

By Your number of post I will assume than you recently put you site online (Im taking a ghest here my logic may be flaud as my english)...

It often take some time before you site appare in search engine, this is beacause they always scan the web and it may take some time before they finf you... if your site is new this is normal... be a little patient...

Also make sure you have meta tags for search bots to read...

How much of your site's text is rendered in Flash?

Search Engine spiders won't read that as indexable content.

None of my text is flash rendered...only the top nav. is flash.

I also put a tricky front page in. Check out the source of the http://www.westkoast.com/index.html page. I used javascript to write the frame, so realistically the search engine should just read the site description, and index every page on the site off the bat.

Also, the site has been online for 3-4months...I'm just new here.

well my original post said it takes 48-72 hours to be indexed around the globe...and spiders dont refresh for 48 hours so it takes atleast 2 days for your site to get noticed. Turns out you have been online for 6 months now.

Looked at your meta tags...they look fine. And only your nav is flash...so maybe the spiders dont like javascript? no idea lol

Most search engines don't read meta tags anymore. Including google. They make their own description and keywords by looking at all the words on your site. If you use flash and a bunch of frames and javascript, there won't be any content for the engines to find, and your site will be virtually invisible. You need to make plain HTML content if you want to get on search engines. All those little tricks with hidden text and stuff do not work.

I am not sure about Google's search bots, but 48-72 hours usually refers to how long it takes all the major router IP tables to be updated so that your URL resolves to an IP address.
