We all pay attention to colours, wether they go well togeather.. or if it sets the correct mood. How well DO you know colour?
How do you describe colour to a colourblind person?

I went to school with a kid who saw green as pink. But he didn't know he was colorblind until high school, when we saw a colorblindness test in science class. When he was in Kindergarten, his teachers pointed at the grass and said, "Grass is green", so he learned pink to be green. What we all saw as green, he saw as pink, but just learned it to be green. To him that was just normal. Can you imagine looking outside and seeing nothing but pink?? That would freak me out. But I suppose if I was born that way, then it would seem normal to me. When our science teacher was explaining to us what "Todd" was seeing, it was hard for him to grasp. I don't recall what color he saw as what we see as green, but when the teacher explained to "Todd" that we saw grass and leaves as "our green", it was hard for him to imagine. I've got a friend who just can't differentiate between some colors. He used to do all the wiring for my car stereos, which I can imagine would be hard, since you have to color-code wires and all, but he did it just fine. Sometimes he'll still ask me what color something is. Like we were buying some Krylon in WalMart, and he needed a navy blue, but grabbed a more reddish color instead, and I almost didn't catch it until we were in the checkout line.

When I talked to some colorblind people they just said that they can't recognize colors. I mean, he can't say "Red looks blue to me" since he doesn't know what blue or red is. To him it was a color.

Yep. Kinds sucks.

I'm colorblind. Got it from Grandma, but Mom didn't get it. I can't tell difference between purple/blue and darker greens/browns/and even reds. It is kinda weird if I see what other people see and I just learn them like Mattboy said.. Eh, I get asked all the time "What color are my jeans?" "What color does this look to you?" Drives me crazy. :(

I wonder how color blind get afected by colors, since specefic colors trigger specefic emotional rsponse...

How color blind percive the exiting and agresive red
How color blind fell the warm side of oange and yellow
or get refresed by blur and green, do they get aroused by tone of pink and purple...

We choose the colrs in oirs design to create a mood a felling... how do they react to to them? This could be a interesting thing to studies...

I was suprised than Alpha2Cookie was color blind... his creation deos not seem to be afected by it... strange...

A friend of mine is completely colorblind. The best quote from him, "Yellow is my favorite shade of gray."

Completely colorblind would mean the person is blind-blind. You have to see at least some different shades.
