matrix reloaded

i saw the matrix a few hours ago. oh yea. *drools over awesome fight scenes* sorry, but i just havta brag :D

it opened here wednesday @ 10 :( but I can't see it until saturday grr.. but yeah I read somewhere that the highway chase seen .. the highway was built specifically for the movie at a cost of like 2.5million USD

I'm waiting for my brother to come back grom college, by that time it'll be out in the IMAX theaters.. .woot woot xD

i've seen it twice, the first time (last night) i was very inbetween about it. the second time (this morning) i liked it. why? i think because initially i expected a different kind of movie, i expected the same style and feel of the first matrix, which it doesn't have, but then again it couldn't. the things in the first film aren't new anymore, it was about neo discovering what the matrix is. in the second film we're getting a dirtier look at things from the inside of the real world and starting to learn the reason why they're there. a lot of really strong ideas presented at a much faster pace than in the first film; whereas initially the only real question was absorbing the concept of the matrix and escaping from it, this one is much more about the how's and why's of the matrix.

my prediction: very mixed reviews, a lot of people are gonna be upset. we shall see...

yea, definatly a different feel from the first one. cant decide if i like it better or worse though. it was more extreme, which was kinda cool but in some cases out of place.

i didnt know they built a highway for the set. wow. makes sense though. no city in their right mind would have let them use a real one :-P.
