Get it here. http://www.andromeda.com/info/redeyepro.html

And I'm sure you were asking for that link. Becuase if you were asking for somebody to give it to you free/illegally you would be banned. Got it...

LMAO... 40 bux is a lot of money for a program that just takes out redeye, I hope it does some other stuff as well :P You can probably get a flash for a camera for less that takes redeye out :p O well, thats just my 2 cents :D

If my memory serves me correctly, the whole redeye phenomenon -- if you can call it that -- is caused by the reflection of the capillaries which is given off when the light from the flash of a camera passes through your lens, hits the capillaries on the back of your eye and back out again. The easiest way to prevent that from happening is to either:

a. Take pictures in a lit room; people's iris (or pupil, forgot which one) is narrower.
b. Shine some light into the person's eye to help the above effect.
c. If you have a professional camera, aim the flash so that it reflects off the walls or ceiling to light the surrounding area, but not shining directly into the person's eye.

There are other programs that take out redeye. Pretty much every simple image management program will do it. I tried one called "Photo Finale" that does that. Search for it on www.download.com

Your memory serves you perfectly. There's no substitue for a well-lit and framed photograph.

And anyone who needs a $40 plugin to get rid of red eye in a Photoshop document ought to have their computer yanked out from under them and have it—and them—tossed in the river. They're worthless, lame-ass hacks.

I feel a certain queasiness because Andromeda has made a corporate decision based on the idea that they can make money with this plugin. They might be as stupid as the people who would actually buy it. The quesey part comes in to play because they'll probably sell a lot of units. I feel bad for the purchasers...dumbasses....
