Hey, now it's on. The turnament everybody's so not willing to see until it actually starts. Anybody watching ? Here's a teaser: Not to many americans watching anymore, eh ?

And since the swede's managed to beat Belarus (this time ) I can afford to say, we're in the second round, hehe...

Paav, we're gonna kick some finnish butt's !

Canada, we're gonna teach you hockey tomorrow, ahhhhhh !

(wonder if I'll have to eat that remark, hehe)

Hey P-man, I'm a hockey freak. Here's some equations for you....

Peter Forsberg = best in the world.

Sweden = might win if Salo stays the hell out of net. (ouch, sorry about those Olympics, bro.)

Canada = might win, too. Those folks bleed hockey, eh? I can respect that.

Colorado Avalanche = blew it, and now I'm bitter and a fulltime baseball fan for a while, until I learn how to cope.

Detroit Wingys = sorry, Malibu. That sucks.

Anaheim Ducks = pipe dream, It'd be nice, but I'm picking....

Vancouver + New Jersey = Devils in six.

Hehe, guess they don't show it 'cuz US didn't make it to the second round. They got beaten by Switzerland and....(this just might be worse then Swedens loss to Belarus in the olympics) Denmark. Seriously, I don't have a clue to where they show it. Sorry.

We'll see, we'll see... (It'll be a great game either way...)

Yea, a great deal is depending on Salo I think, and on the other pro's...Against Belarus the pro's except Forsberg looked awfully pale, they have to shape up.

I too think Canada is one of the four gold candidates. Canada, Sweden (hehe), Finland and Russia. Both Finland and Russia got themselves a great team.

Personally I'm glad both Colorado and Detroit blew it, I get to see the stars we actually have in Sweden, hehe, they're not many so...

Vancouver - New Jersey = 4 - 2 I agree it will be settled in the 6:th, but Vancouver's gonna take'em out by 4 - 2.

Ahem >> Canada 3 - Sweden 1

Forsberg is the man, too dominating to contain. Too bad you have Mats "No Heart" Sundin on the team :(

Hey Spectra, congrats to a fair win. I agree, sweden seemed...not there...There was a cupla players that did ok tho, Forsberg, Zetterberg, and Salo I think was good despite the three goals...But I sur think that Sweden will improve, 'cuz the longer we're in the turnament the more of a chance that they will actually play together...

Hmmm, Sundin wasn't to good was he. Tired perhaps, pain in his mouth...Ahhh, that's things a man should be able to cope with.

We'll take you canucks when it's for real, when it means something ;)

Patteman,

That's what I worry about. Lately, Olympics aside, Canada has not faired too well in international competition. Sweden has too much firepower to only score one goal. Zetterberg is very exciting to watch. But in all fairness to Canada, we seem to have a more balanced team, not all flash, but some grinders in there...(See Draper and Forsberg go at it :D) Anyways, now with the formalities out of the way, it should be interesting to see how Sweden reacts. Looking forward to the medal rounds.

With the heart of Saku Koivu, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Finland win. :D
