I think that the whole west coast.. Canada and the States sound similar. Its the East Coast that have thick accents. I work with a lady who grew up in New Jersey and she agrees. But I think that the language is different, and that is quite noticeable... But maybe cause its BC and everyone is stoned ;) thats why BC'ers sound different.
