Does anyone know where i might be able to locate some free pixel fonts ??

Check the fonts section in the resources arena....

Look for Miniml, they have a bunch.
also I found a few odds and ends from all over and bundled them - although I should have just linked them due to respect for the creators, but my site has a bunch:
