well its late for me and i have school tomorrow so my mind running idle, this is the misc chat so i'd thought i'd add one of those "why" thread into the mix. Its always interesting to see how people answer them

the question might throw you from the question i'm going to ask... but what can i say, it probably got your attention :p

so what drew you to the forums or site? also... why are you still here?

for me i had a friend browsing the net for some photoshop tuts and he came across this site, he showed it me at school and i took interest. At present i'm obsessed with learn html and java script. and the "site of the week" image drew me in. The reason i stay here... to learn really and use that knowledge in my own work

ps. if someone already posted a thread like this, then please delete it, it would be pointless having another

I originally came here for the tutorials years ago. Then joined the forum to ask a few questions. Liked the people, posted more, became a mod, posted more, and now I have a whole group of friends here that I can chat with and get advice from. It's really a great group of people, and that's the main reason. If there were tons of stupid posts and things like many of the other graphics forums out there, then I would not be here.

I too was lured in by the tutorials from Pank and Mr. Photoshop. I think secretly I was just another victim of their evil plot to take over the world one website at a time....

I had seen teamphotoshop's site a few time and one day, i was bored, so i signed up.

I haven't been coming here for almost a year though, then someone replied to an ooooooooold thread and since i was bored i decided to come back.

SO HA, boredom and boredom.

I needed to hone my Photoshop skills and funny enough, this was the first place I tried.. I seemed to have lucked out.

2-3 years ago, i found it through a link. joined because i love critiquing websites and art.

I think I got here because I made some graphics and wanted to know what some more experienced people thought about those graphics. And indeed, I stayed for the people too.

I don't know if that is because I got to know all you guys a bit more, or that you really are a better chat then other forums.
So stay around too, cantii... and you might end up being asked this question too in a year or two.
