I didn't take these photos, they were just sent to me. Apparently it's an Australian spider, called the Huntsman or something

Yeah, I saw that on www.fazed.org ... pretty scare sh!t if you ask me... if I saw one of those behind my clock I would instantly sh!t my pants and begin running around the room in a cicrle... then I'd call 911.:D

dammit matt. stop posting these scary pictures! I only looked at the first one. I couldn't stand to look at the others.

there was a big spider at my grandparents house one time when i lived there. i was home alone. and it dropped from the ceiling. it was huge. (for an american spider, nothing compared to that spider behind the clock) and it scared the **** out of me. i ran to the other side of the room, and watched it. and i just stood there being scared for like 10 minutes. then finally i got the nerve to throw a book at it. i missed. it ran. i ran. i was scared. but i finally hit it. but i left the book there, with a note to my grandparents telling them there was a big scary spider under there. and they cleaned it up. 'cause there is no way i would touch that book. bleh... spiders are the devil.

Man, I hate spiders. We had this one so big it actually told me to get out of the room or it would beat me.

There is no way I will be able to sleep very well tonight. Look at the fangs in the 3rd photo!!!!!!! Holy ass, I've been doing a bit of reading on these things, and they pretty commonly hang out in your bedrooms at night above your head. I imagine they are on the floor too, so be careful when you put your shoes on in the mornings. Make sure you shake them really hard to knock all the Huntsman spiders out of them. Oh yeah, and don't lift your pillow up either, it will only let the ones out that were being pinned by the weight of your head. And don't reach for your alarm clock in the morning...make sure you look first, you may have a big spider sitting there. Oh, and check underneath the seat of your computer chair so you don't disturb one when you go to adjust the height. And be careful when sitting on the toilet...they like a moist area and may crawl up your back when you sit down. And be careful when sliding shirts to the side in your closet...you may have one hiding in between two T-shirts, and you wouldn't want to disturb that fellow now would you?
