What popup stopper, if any, do you guys use? I have been using a freeware popup stopper from panicware (popup stopper free edition), but it's not very useful. It blocks about 50% of the popups and everytime I click a link that opens in a new window, it will close it. Any suggest to finding a good popup stopper?

Yes, use www.opera.com as your web browser. It stops 100% of pop-ups.

LMAO... deker and his cheap OPERA promo in there.. ;)
But yeah I dont really use any form of popup blocker... i dont really have a use for one... as much as i hate popups I dont really seem to get that many. Just stop going to warez sites and you wont get as many... jk jonnyboy2307 :P

Opera is pretty good though, thats probably what i would suggest using, not only that but its fast

Don't be phased by the misleading name, but I use "Popup Ad Filter". I'm pretty sure its working great, since I haven't been annoyed by any popups since I got it. There have only been a few sparse occasions where it tried to close something I wanted open.

No they don't pay me. It's just the best browser on the PC and people should know about it.

You can either set opera to block all pop-up ads, or block all but pop-up ads you request. So like if you click on a link that opens a pop-up it will open. But if there is an onLoad that does it, it won't open. It's really nice.

You can also turn off graphics with one click. So if you like browsing warez sites a lot, just turn on the pop-up blocker, and click to turn off images, then there are no porn banners all over the place.

Opera. The choice of software pirates everywhere! ;)

People still surf warez "sites"? huh...last time all the good sites went through their "sucking" period I switched over to Direct Connect and never looked back. Not that I download anything illegal, I just use it for ..umm...game demos, because piracy is bad.
