I'm making a site and i need a cool layout. Just to give you an idea of what i'm aiming for: its an anime and videogame site. Basically what i need is some good ideas for color schemes and layout. Frames or no frames. If so where should they be. Stuff like that. I already have a beginning layout that i made in photoshop and dreamweaver thats coming along but i dont think it looks good enough. I planned on putting the an LCD orb into flash and having the name of the site rotate aound but thats about it. I havnt even thought about where the navigation bar is gonna go. So basically i'm begging for some ideas. My partner is photoshop illiterate as well as Flash and Dreamweaver - he does the media and stuff.

Wrong section man.. this section if for displaying the websites that you have made, if you willing to pay for the design put it on the "Payed Jobs" section of the forums, if your not willing to pay for the job then put it in the "Free Jobs" section...

No frames... other than that, you're gonna have to do some work to find the inspiration. Start out by spending some time in google to see what people have already done. Beyond that, look at some magazine for ideas from the print industry, or HOW Magazine, or Communication Arts magazine. After that, go outside and look at window displays in little shops, or go to the park and watch the kids play on the playground. And then when you're all done--go find something you like on http://www.templatemonster.com and steal the idea. Or, maybe you learned something on your travels that gave you inspiration. |
