Help on a book!

Hey yall I was wondering if there was a very good book out there for Photoshop 6 so I can do what you guys do! I'd really appreciate some suggestion...o and yah, not them expensive ones.:D The more I see of everyones work, the more I am more impressed and inspired to wanna learn and do graphics!

I don't know of a book...but why dont you go to this site's main page and do the tutorials. And try www.phong.com 's tutorials. Just read and do-along with the tutorials, and then expiriment with photoshop. The main way to get good is just to play around.

in the book store look for anything that says one of these 2 things...(My opinion)

It kicks butt and is well worth the $40 plus.

before you go out and shell out $40 buck though.....learn the basics..

they read like a book and I'll tell ya.....read those tutorials and they will give you the basic skills you need. THEN go buy the book and you'll know how to apply what the book shows you.
