I'm not sure if you do this in photoshop or some other program but how do you turn an image, lets say of a person, into what looks like a cartoon. Like when you paint over their skin color with a color in photoshop or something. Sorry that I can't provide details and pics but I have no idea what this process is called and what program to do it in and also if there is an easier way to do it than manually painting over each different value with your desired color. I saw a tutorial about it a year or two ago but I hardly remember it. Might of been in illustrator. |

Either way, there's not just a filter for it, so whatever program you can work best in, I'd say use it. If someone were to ask me in the street you're same question, I'd say manually paint them in Photoshop.

cartoonists are born. there is no quick easy way to do it. it is a rare talent.

I'm not talking about making cartoons. I'm talking about converting an photo into a flat looking colorized thing.
