www.opera.com Opera 7 Final is out for Windows. Doesn't look like there are any new features added from Beta 2, probably just bug fixes and so forth. |

Opera is also probably going to drop the Macintosh platform, since Safari came out. They were already not making any money on the Mac, and now that Apple has had like a billion downloads of Safari already, they've pretty much destroyed all the competition. In other Apple news... They released a 20" cinema display today and dropped prices on all the other monitors. Plus a new dual process 1.42 gigahertz powermac, and price drops all around for the powermac line. |

Hey it looks better. CSS all seems to work and my news scroll works perfectly hey you know how when you opened a page up in a new window it would give you a page button in the status bar in 6.0. Where did that go. I have to minimize to see my other windows?? |

Tabbed browsing is the best invention since the browser. That way you don't have 15 IE windows cluttering your start menu. Pank... When you installed it it should have asked you if you wanted to do the tabbed browsing or the regular browsing. You obviously made the wrong choice... Try going to File > Preferences. Then click on Windows. Make sure "Open pages in new windows" is not checked. Then go to View > Page bar and make sure it is set to top or bottom or wherever you want it. |

I just noticed a really cool feature of opera that I hadn't even paid attention to before... You can save "Sessions" of web sites, and open them at a later date. Which basically means, you can have 3 or 4 web sites open, save the session, and then close the browser and come back later, load the session, and immediately all your sites are back up. That would be really good for me, cause I usually have 2 webmail pages open, the admin panels for 2 different web sites, a news site, the forum, and sometimes ebay and paypal. That way I could just load one session in the morning, and all of those sites would be up. I wouldn't have to make a bunch of new windows and type in domains or click on bookmarks. Awesome... |

Opera sucks ....just playin' D. Just trying to get under your skin. I know I did too. I could feel the hairs on the back of your neck rise up, and that vein on your forehead swell up. Sorry. |
