here's the tale:

the programmers hid that splash screen in version 4.0 on the mac version....(old time PC users...was it there?) accesable by "command clicking" the little icon at the top of the toolbar. You could then "command click" his nose to make him open his mouth and let out an audible "BURP".

Alot of you don't know this but when version 4 came out ....adobe had thrown the old photoshop out the window for the most part.... EVERYTHING had changed.
keystrokes had changed, pallets were gone, others had appeared, all the cursers had changed, and the preferences dialog was like some strange unknown new land....
hmmm, I just thought.....the crop tool was seperate from the marquee tools in PS 3 and now with PS 6 it is seperate again...

That brings me to this....
Didn't they just do the same thing with..... version 6?

Isn't that System 7 too? You a Mac user too ;)?

that screen cap was indeed taken from a Mac OS 7.5...

and I'm a mac user more than I'm a PC user....
I mostly just internet on my PC... for the most part the macs don't see the internet.
