Does anyone know anything about digital camcorders? I'm looking to buy one for my wife for christmas. I was thinking of the Canon ZR20 or ZR25MC. I'm looking to spend $400 - $450, and that looks like the best deal. It has gotten good reviews and they say it has great video quality for the price.

Also, anyone have a favorite consumer information or "Best Price" site? Like cnet.com gives you the prices of like 10 different places. Are there any better ones out there for comparison shopping?

Thanks fellows...

They have a "grey market" filter that's supposed to keep the list to US Market stuff. Just be careful whomever you go through.

Buy Sony. 'nough said.

That extra $150 might be the right thing to do though =\. YOu know how it is with electronics, sometimes you can try to save a little bit and end up regretting it a year later.
