Professional design?

Sorry that I have been away for a while. Lack of time sucks ;) .

i wouldnt call it professional. seems like just wanted to throw a buncha random things together... example, the white wave thing on the top left and the fish on the bottom. trying to show off what they can do i guess.. but they arent that impressive. the circle navigation is way too busy and random too. seems like a site from 3 years ago to me.

Actually, I really like their design. I think that all Flash designers should look up to them, as they set a new standard in that area.

......I need to take a trip to the museum and go admire some art to cleanse myself of this horror......

brief, hopefully more constructive thoughts:

- the text is way too big
- a script font will rarely, if ever, look professional
- transitions are too slow and "pop" off (instead of fading back down)
- seems a bit too flash/vector looking (as opposed to use of bitmapped images, etc.)
- too much "effect", not enough content

It looks like they are either 15 years old, or have been using flash for 15 minutes and have fallen for all the usual newbie flash design mistakes.

the font is boring... arial or whatever that is. that's the first sign of crappy flash for me. then those radial gradients... all the stock photos ripped from gettyone.com or whatever. please.

it's just wrong on so many levels.

lmao... half of those sounds have nothing to do with the animation that is happening at that time... like there is explosions and stuff when there is nothing actually happening besides text moving and stuff... lol...
