...I've done that. And my musclepumped big, hard body :D can't cope with it anymore...I've recieved the ruling from the orthopaedist today...after a "clean up" surgery on my knee and a lot of training wich wasn't sufficient, they've suggested a new knee tendon in order to make me function normally again. Wich means that they take a part of the front big tendon on the knee and make a "cheat one" and stuff that inside the knee, in the middle of it, where the old one wich was broken was located.

The surgery itself is no problem to me, it is what comes after...At least one year of training (3 times a week) in order to be back on the field again....Feck me senseless

No wining intended, just had to get it out of me system somewhere, and this is a good place to do that...

omg... I feel sorry for you. That sucks! Well, hang in there and you'll be fine. We'll make the training a little easier on you by uhm... making nice wallpapers and stuff for you... ;)

Got an Idea...Make me a "money-makin'-machine" and a "willing-girl-who-wants-to-do-anything-you-like-machine" and I will get in shape in no time....:D

P-man, that sucks, but you're going too far saying that kids shouldn't play sports. Playing is the most important thing in all our lives....well it should be anyway

I had a serious rib injury in high school playing football. I got runover by my own dirt bike a few times, Broke my front teeth out when I was really young (baby teeth, I got a nice, full grill now). I was beaned in baseball several times, flipped over my handle bars BMX style hundreds of times and run through a barbed wire fence on my dirt bike, and nearly killed myself snowboarding more common than not...

...would I do it all again? you bet your ass!

I'm with cybling on this one. play, play, play

My dad nearly died from hitting into a non marked barbed fence on his dirt bik. His helmet saved his life.

Well, I wasn't totally serious when writing "don't ever do sports again..." more an ironic statment, I think, due to the fact that I'm tired of going to the physiotherapist. And now I gotta face a 'hole year in addition to what I've already done.

I do want this surgery, 'cuz without it I can't ever do sports again, and I want to do some squash, badminton, soccer, "indoor bandy", climbing and sexmarathon ;)
