somehow i got to www.total-host.net and they have very cheap hosting, starting from $3 with 100MB of space and 10000MB BandWidth. sounds very good to me. anyone gonna try them?

not bad. reminds me of my host, www.myacen.com , before they upped their prices. lucky i ordered my 500 mb $10/mo package right before they raised the prices and then they upgraded me as well without raising my monthly price, so now im at 750mb :D

One main thing you should look for when signing up for a hosting company are Policies. Couldn't find a single one on their site. So if I were you, I'd forget bout signing up.

They're overselling their servers, meaning selling more that what they actually have. Based on their IP, they lease servers from Rackshack.net, and it should be http://www.rackshack.net/celeron10mb.asp since they can offer so much bandwidth for a low price. Cogent bandwidth, well, its really cheap, not so realiable bandwidth.. So there's no 99% network uptime if you ask me. Plus, I don't think they can make enough to pay that $349.00 monthly fee.

Or it may be http://www.rackshack.net/celeron1_3.asp .. 400Gb.. With the plans they have they can sell only 13.3 accounts if they are actually selling *real* 30GB bandwidth per account. This I believe are what they're using cause a trace to their server has Verio's line on it and not Cogent. $99 monthly plus that 1 dollar setup fee.

Just doing a little homework before choosing a webhost. I'd rather be with a more established host than loose my website, have downtime and loose my money in the end.

Just my 2 cents

Nice There are alot of kids that run "webhosts" these days. They're in for quick money. Get the necessary profit then close and run with you money.
