My first "real" computer was a 486 25mhz with 4mb RAM. With a 2400 baud modem and a 14" monitor that could only do 640x480 max. Had to use that piece o' junk for 4 years before my next one.... These days I buy new pc parts whenever I want and throw together new machines like cheap little frankenstein monsters. |

My first computer was a Pentium 66mhz. And my dad paid $4,500 for it. We got it the week the pentiums came out. And we upgraded the RAM to 8 megs, and put in a double speed cd-rom. It was kick-ass.

The slowest comp we ever had, was a 60mhz ones, very slow and crappy, compared to today's standards.
