i never turn off my computer. you guys are nerds. i read somewhere back when i first learned about computers that every time you start your computer, it shortens it's life a day. because the initial surge of electricity is hard on the circuits. so take that. dummies.

my laptops been up for 6 weeks straight until a power outage caused it to go down. my desktop, 2 weeks and mine is also on 24/7 because like sidez, i hate waiting for it to boot up whenever i use it. and my longest time on aim is 8 days 43 mins i think it was. :D

I only leave my comp on when i'm rendering....i'm leaving it on tonight, rendering a nice 90 frame animation.

The more you leave my LCD flatpanel on, the quicker it deteriorates....this "detioriation" is invisible to the eye though...i dont like having energy wasting, plus OSX starts up in under a minute, OS9 opens in 30 seconds..
