I really like trendwhore stuff But I've been told that it is quite..... out of date

So what kind of stuff should I be trying to do? Any examples?

you should be trying to do what YOU like, whether it be trendwhore stuff or not. that's what i do, if i like it, that's it, bottom line, don't give a crap what other people think. but that's me.

People should get their terms right first.

Trendy - Something that is in, being trendy
Trendwhore - Someone who follows the trend

Just do something that you think looks good, at the same time would please your visitors. That works for me.. well I've got fans :p

Heh, sorry I was refering to the Trendwhore tutorial on carbonFour.... I thought that must have been a style I like the stuff with arrows, and tiny text and cursors etc

That was the in thing about a few months ago. Now? I'm not sure... I just do my own thing. Right now I think clean cut designs are "in".

Funny, "out of date" is such a relative term. I may be one of the most out of date guy here. I mean, who actually uses old school fonts like goudy etc.. and formats their text? And clean graphics...whoops, now sidez is telling me that thats "in.' woooo im in im in...
