Ok, here goes ---

I work for the 2nd largest cruise agency in the us. I am in the process of setting up a PhotoshopCruise on the Carnival Imagination. So far i have a confirmed Bert Monroy [website] and a possible katrin eismann plus one or two more 'big names' in PS to teach a couple 2-3 hour classes.

It's June 5, 2003 for 4days out of miami, -- Miami/Key West/ Cozumel/Miami.

Price is not set yet, but it will be much less than Photoshop world

sign up for the mail list and i'll keep you updated as we get more info and more confirmed people.

I know the site isnt much yet - but i cannot use the Adobe or Photoshop logos or references until i get wirtten permission from Adobe ... so for now its just the sign-up.

Umm...that would be Katrin Eismann. If you're involved in something this big, as a representative of the company it's a good idea to get the details correct (like spelling). To do otherwise erodes your credibility.

Sounds kinda cool, and I'm betting that Kelby's got his hands in on this?

Just about every graphic artist who wants to look "pro" uses a mac. I'm one of the few, the proud (and contest winning ) who is ibm-clone pc exclusive.

Sorry about the typo -- i screw up my own name sometimes -- and no Kelby's not involved..... i asked and they wanted to control everything (not gonna happen)

Gee, page 12...I have to wonder in what ways K&W Media (Kelby's Empire) would want to control everything, and in what ways it would conflict with your company's ideas about how to do things.

After all, K&W has quite the reputation for putting together successful and profitable Photoshop events. I'm thinking I'd like their "Golden Touch" involved in some way.

put it this way -- i love there seminars but if they were to get involved it would jack ticket prices up about 1/3 -- not that thats a bad thing.. and i am open to the idea, but there is more involved with it-- maybe next year after we have had 1 successfull show we will include them, -- its kinda like the microsoft thing- you bring it to there attention and all of a sudden its a microsoft product no more small guy.

I'm not good enough with photoshop to be a scott kelby, so i figured i will get people better than me to do a show and i will sit in the background.

I guess look at it this way, If TeamPhotoshop.com went to NAPP and said hey be a part of our site, yes it would bring alot of people and traffic, but the site would become just another NAPP product with NAPP stuff everywhere.
