TPS Challenge 10: NL vs. Grums (complete)

Subject: Heat

Use only photoshop, only native filters. No photographs, no text. You have to just use photoshop to express heat. You can draw pictures or whatever, but no photographs or clipart type stuff.

Make the final image 600 x 600 and post it here.

As long as he created it, then it's fine. If it's clipart taken from another site, then it is not ok.

well, heat can be interpreted in many ways, doesn't have to be fire..

"Heat" in street slang means a gun or it also means an arguement

Oven is used to bake and heat is used...

they are both ok....nothing amazing. heat does not have to be fire, but in this case, side by side, grums' says heat to me. if i didn't know the topic i would never guess that NL's represented heat.

it is important to think of more than just imagery. think of color, darks vs lights, hard edges vs soft, etc... they all contribute to the feeling that is created.
