I am quite familiar with photoshop, but I am not familiar with the technique used to get this effect. I appreciate any advice that you can offer.

Two, this is 3D stuff not photoshop...

Yep... this is pretty much all done with a 3d prog, minus some of the lighting elements and the white dot like tings, pretty much everything else was made in a prog like 3DSM, or Cinima4d, etc..

Thanks for the info. I suspected it was something like 3ds Max, and I do apologize for posting in this section. I was not under the impression that this was just for posting techniques. That being the case, this will be my final post of this nature.
